The Art Galleries at TCU is pleased to present No no no no I want you to be wide awake and hear details you’ve never heard before by Gfeller + Hellsgård at Fort Worth Contemporary Arts. This exhibition will feature a new, site-specific print installation with large, temporary wooden structures. Gfeller + Hellsgård are recognized for their commitment to rethinking and stretching the limits of the screen-printing process through experimentation. The French-Swedish duo work across a wide range of media, including zines, books, posters, installation and painting, and their vibrant style is best described as a hybrid of handcraft, punk and pop abstraction. No no no no I want you to be wide awake and hear details you’ve never heard before is programmed as part of Texchange, the 2019 SGC International Conference, happening in Dallas from March 6 – 9, 2019.
