We are heartbroken to share that our dear friend and longtime Fort Worth artist, Carol Ivey, passed away suddenly on February 8th. Carol was a beloved and steadfast presence in the Fort Worth arts community. Her work, generosity, and unwavering support for the arts left a lasting mark on all of us. Alongside her husband, Herb Levy, she could always be found at gallery openings, museum exhibitions, and artist talks - championing creativity and showing up with enthusiasm and care.  

We grieve with her family and hold them in our thoughts during this difficult time. A memorial will be planned this spring, with details to follow. In lieu of flowers, her family invites you to honor her by supporting the arts, giving to a meaningful cause, and extending kindness to others. She will be deeply missed.
